The Trading Post is an excellent community outreach project managed by First Baptist Church.  The Trading Post is a consignment shop offering gently used clothing and household items at a discounted price.  Many members of the community utilize this program as a course of bargains as well as friend making opportunities.

Our church also supports a local chapter of The Boy Scouts as well as projects with the Springfield Rescue Mission, Open Pantry Food Bank, and hospital ministries.
